The Fieldhouse was built in 1967 with many notable features. Sporting a 200-meter track, six practice courts, and seating for over 2,000 fans, the fieldhouse is also home to Dawson Fitness Center. Dawson Fitness center consists of many weight training machines and aerobic equipment. In 2015, 82 interior bulbs were changed from high output light fixtures to low wattage LED fixtures. In addition, a 2014 roof replacement that also included new siding and gutters greatly increased indoor temperature control.
